On 16th July 2026, Zero-Sum ITS Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. hosted the 2nd Annual Local Training and Seminar on Evaluation and Adjustment at the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) office in Bengaluru. Organised by DULT in collaboration with NAGOYA ELECTRIC WORKS CO., LTD. and Zero-Sum ITS Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., and in cooperation with the Bengaluru Traffic Police, the seminar was held as part of the ongoing Operation and Maintenance of the system implemented under “The Project for Implementation of Advanced Traffic Information and Management System in Core Bengaluru”. Building on the inaugural edition held in 2025, this year’s session reviewed the system’s performance over the past year, shared operational insights, and identified adjustments based on on-ground evaluations to further strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of the advanced traffic systems deployed across the city. The seminar drew over 50 participants from key Bengaluru civic, planning, transport and enforcement agencies, including BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike), DULT, BMTC (Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation) and BTP (Bengaluru Traffic Police).

During the seminar, speakers from India and Japan provided insights on the overview of the project and the Moderato signalling system, a summary and analysis of the operation and maintenance issues and preventive measures implemented, the results of changes in traffic conditions and the corrective measures taken for 2025 and 2026, next-generation smart traffic solutions for Bengaluru, and traffic safety solutions including V2X-based highway use cases for road works warning. The session concluded with a live demonstration at the B-TIC command and control centre. The participants found the seminar and training very useful and posed several queries to the presenters which were answered to their satisfaction. A similar training and seminar will be held again in 2027.
